Most of the runners I coach, along with myself, have a tendency to fixate on the impending p90X3 results pain and struggle the next workout will bring. Fretting over one or two important workouts in a training segment isnt a problem its normal and an important part of preparing yourself mentally for race day. However, when you begin to dread and fixate on every single workout, it can become an emotional drain that causes mental burnout and saps the fun out of running.

Jeter spent four months this offseason training his lower half, a luxury that he didn’t have last year, when he had a walking boot removed in January and re-injured his ankle in March. “Everything is good,” Jeter said, knocking his knuckles against the wood of his clubhouse locker. “Like I told you, I’ve been working extremely hard to get my strength back. I feel like it’s back, I feel strong, so it’s not an issue in my mind. I don’t think about it.” Observers have noted that Jeter looks younger in photographs than he did last season.

Jeter takes center stage in Yankees’ first workout

Jeter has always been the marquee attraction at Yankee camp, but his announcement last week that this would be his final season has sent Jeter-mania to new heights. Every “first” is Jeter’s “final,” like Thursday’s last-first-spring-training-workout-of-his-career. So 1,338 fans filled the seats at Steinbrenner Field to watch him perform the most mundane of tasksstretching, jogging and a batting-practice session in which he didn’t even swing. It didn’t seem to matter to them.
